Ambassador of Mentoring- Position available at SMILES Mentoring

SMILES Mentoring’s Ambassador will serve as the Volunteer Recruitment and Retention Specialist. The goal of this position is to increase the number of new mentoring matches, as well as the retention of all mentoring matches beyond one year. The Ambassador will focus on increasing our ability to network with the business and service communities, being more consistent in reaching out to our local media, helping our current volunteers become more invested in our agency and keeping our community more aware of our services. All activities will promote a rewarding volunteer experience and produce well-trained and enthusiastic volunteers to promote volunteer retention.
