HVAC Mechanic II (2 Positions)
AFSCME Unit 2
Grade 17 Step 01

Position Available: Immediately
General Statement of Duties:
Install heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment including related fixtures. Troubleshoot diagnose, check and repair heating and ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Will exercise functional supervision over HVAC Mechanic I personnel. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have at least one year of full-time, or equivalent part-time technical experience in the installation, maintenance and report of heating, refrigeration, ventilating and air condition systems. Certificate as evidence of completion of a two year program in refrigeration and heating acceptable. Knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations governing assigned unit activities. Knowledge of policies, procedures, specifications, standards and guidelines governing assigned unit activities.

Shift: 40 Hours Monday through Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm
Salary: $722.97 Weekly - full time state funded with benefits
