We offer assistance in dealing with anxiety, depression and increased alcohol and/or drug use. The downturn in the economy has affected everyone. Fall River has the highest unemployment rate in the state of MA at 12%. Economic turmoil (unemployment, foreclosures, loss of investments and other financial distress) can result in a host of negative health effects, both physical and mental. These issues can add tremendous stress, which in turn can substantially increase the risk of problems including: depression, anxiety, domestic violence, substance abuse, stress, and compulsive behaviors.
