Saint Vincent's Announces Summer Celebration Title Sponsor

Saint Vincent’s is pleased to announce that Mechanics Cooperative Bank will be the Title Sponsor of the 3rdAnnual Kick-Off To Summer Celebration on Friday, June 24thfrom 6PM to 11PMon the deck of the Battleship Massachusetts. Mechanics Cooperative Bank’s $12,500 sponsorship represents the largest corporate sponsorship of the annual celebration.
The one-of-a-kind evening celebration overlooking Fall River’s waterfront will include complimentary beer and wine, cash bar, gourmet dinner, dancing to the sounds of the World Premier Band, and both silent and live auctions. The successful fundraiser is expected to draw over 300 guests from Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
The 3rdAnnual Kick-Off To Summer Celebration promises to be a fun celebration to signal the start of the summer months. “Mechanics Cooperative Bank is proud to partner with Saint Vincent’s as the Presenting Sponsor of the 3rdAnnual Kick-Off To Summer Celebration,” said Deborah A. Grimes, Mechanics Cooperative Bank's Executive Vice President and Saint Vincent’s Board Member. "We support Saint Vincent’s efforts to provide children and families in our community with the necessary tools to succeed in life,” she added. Proceeds from the Summer Celebration willdirectly benefit the youth in Saint Vincent’s Life Skills program. Funds raised will provide opportunities for youth to learn skills necessary to live independently, receive work-based learning and vocational training, as well as instruction in financial and computer literacy.
The evening’s gourmet dinner will include a clam and oyster raw bar by Cuttyhunk Shellfish Farmsand feature food stations prepared by Blount Fine Foods, Lafrance Hospitality, Ma Raffa’s, Mario’s Lebanese Bakery, Mesa 21, MS Catering, TA Restaurant, Trio Café & Lounge, and Waterfront Grille in New Bedford. Domestic and imported beers will be available, compliments of Quality Beverage, as well as local wines produced by wineries along the Coastal Wine Trail of Southeastern New England.
Exclusive Silent and Live Auctions will feature over 50 items such as destination packages to Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, autographed sports memorabilia, golf outings, and jewelry.
