Each summer, The Salvation Army provides children in the Greater Fall River Community with an opportunity to attend their overnight summer camp in Sharon, Massachusetts. Camp Wonderland is a fully-licensed and accredited camp that offers affordable, one-week vacations to children whose families may otherwise not be able to send their child to camp. Kids have a chance to enjoy a summer vacation where they can experience nature, make new friends, and develop new talents all in a safe and supportive environment. Activities include pontoon boat rides, swimming in the lake, arts & crafts, music education, sporting activities, games, and Bible Study. The Salvation Army in Fall River provides transportation to and from the camp. Camperships for our Fall River Corps are subsidized but there is limited space.
