UMASS Dartmouth Adds a New Program for Health Care Workers
In the past, having an associate's degree has been enough to get a job as a dental hygienist, nutritionist or a respiratory therapist. Recently, workers in these fields increasingly need bachelor's degrees. In the fall, UMASS Dartmouth is starting a new program meant to help those workers earn higher degrees and learn about health care policies, business and people management. The program will be held at the UMASS main campus in Dartmouth and also at its continuing education center in Fall River. Those who qualify for the program but are unemployed are encouraged to apply through their local career center. For more information about this program and its curriculum, click here.
