Youth CHOICES

The Youth CHOICES Collaborative

Community building and mobilization for
Healthy youth development through positive
Opportunities,
Intervention and prevention,
Collaboration,
Empowerment and
Support to ensure success.

In an effort to eliminate duplication of efforts and multiple meetings, become more strictly youth-focused, concentrate on sustainability and bring diversity and greater representation to the table, SARGE merged with the Healthy Youth Task Force. The merger allowed for a better communication between providers, sharing of resources, planning of more activities, sharing of experiences, increasing youth participation, and increasing access to grant opportunities through collaboration and networking.

Gangs or just a group of friends?

Yes! Gangs are recruiting your kids. In the past few years, many group of kids have formed their oun gang with their oun respective idea. Im not saying this is a bad thing, but seriously look at what your kids are getting into. They go to school, they meet new friends, and somethimes they don't feel like they fit in and there's plenty of BS going on at home and they feel as if their new friends are their new family.
