Title:   Program Assistant

Date:   July 1, 2009

Salary:  $12.00 per hour

Hours:  Part Time – 15-19 hours per week (paid bi-weekly)
   Paid Training Provided

United Neighbors of Fall River Community Connections Coalition is looking for a part time Program Assistant to provide administrative support to the Executive Director and staff.

• Assists with coordinating, participating in and providing support at coalition events, conferences, workshops and meetings, as directed.
• Provides office support duties, such as; creating letters, flyers, correspondences, financial reports and other documents as well as maintain supply inventories and perform clerical responsibilities, as requested.
• Provides support and guidance to families, community providers, DCF staff and others by telephone and in person and delivers high level customer service.
• Assists with obtaining information and donations from community agencies, businesses and others, as directed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills a must
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher
• Experience working for a non-profit organization
• Experience with fundraising a plus
• High school graduate – with a preference for Associates Degree
