UMass Extension Nutrition Education program is looking for two part-time nutrition educators to assist with the implementaion, coordination and evaluation of the Family Nutrition Program serving Fall River, New Bedford and Taunton.
- Implement education program activities as planned for the 2010 project year.
- Collect data to evaluate program effectiveness
- Assist other staff in collaborative programming
- Assist in overall program management in communicating program needs and collection of program documentation
- Represent UMass Extension at the local level with community groups in the areas of nutrition, health promotion and disease prevention
- Participate in FNP team and staff meetings.
Qualifications required at hire:
- Bachelor degree in nutrition, health or education related field
- Experience with computers
- Excellent interpersonal and group process skills
- Ability to maintain a diverse schedule of local, regional and statewide activity which is not restricted by access to public or private transportation.
