safeTALK Suicide Alertness Training for Everyone

safeTALKis a suicide alertness training that helps prepare you to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources.  Most people with thoughts of suicide invite help to stay safe.  safeTALK prepares you to be an alert helper knowing how to use these opportunities to support that desire for safety.
Suicide alert helpers are part of a suicide-safer community.  Learn steps that will help more people with thoughts of suicide get connected to the intervention help they want.
Learn steps that contribute to saving lives.
Practice the TALK steps – Tell, Ask, Listen and Keep Safe.
Everyone age 15 and older can be trained to be a safeTALK Alert Helper.  Anyone who interacts with others on a daily basis is encouraged to take advantage of this training….students, teachers, community volunteers, first responders, military personnel, police, public and private employees, coaches, clergy, and parents— among many others.
