Dunkin’ Donuts Helps Children and Families in Need

June 2, 2009 by Saint Vincents Home

Dunkin' DonutsThe children of Saint Vincent’s are benefiting from the generosity of local Dunkin’ Donuts franchises, particularly those run by John Melo on President Avenue, Elsbree Street, Brayton Avenue, and New Boston Road.  Over the past few months, Mr. Melo’s Dunkin’ Donuts employees and customers have donated over $6,000 to Saint Vincent’s.  This support is the work of managers, Carmen Aguiar of the Elsbree Street location, Stephanie Watts at President Avenue, Melissa Sardinha at the Brayton Avenue location, and Tracy Carreiro at the New Boston Road Dunkin’ Donuts who together are spearheading the project.  Each manager was presented with a Friend of Children and Families Award on behalf of Saint Vincent’s.  Through their support and the support of their customers, they are assisting Saint Vincent’s in restoring hope to children with a wide range of challenges, who live each day with the hope of returning to a family.
