Who is your Hero of Peace?

The Peace by Piece Steering Committee seeks nominations from the public for its Heroes of Peace Award. At the Annual Fall River National Night Out, the committee will acknowledge and publicly thank award recipients.

Throughout Fall River, there are many people and groups who continuously provide a positive message of hope and inspiration. They encourage positive change through their examples of excellence.

Peaceful Coalition and CD Recreation invite you to celebrate summer and promote peace at the Annual Kickoff to a Peaceful Summer event Wednesday, June 22nd. The festivities at Kickoff to a Peaceful Summer continue the community's ongoing peace initiative including Increase the Peace and Peace by Piece.

Third Annual Peace by Piece Summit: A Day Full of Impact

The Peace by Piece Summit grows every year. This year was a great success, with many collaborating organizations and volunteers, and almost too many fun activities and challenging workshops to choose from. National Youth Violence Prevention Week: Peace Pole Planting Day

In recognition of National Youth Violence Prevention Week, United Neighbors of Fall River will organized the 2nd Annual Peace Pole Planting Day on March 25th: A Day to Unite in Action.

A Peace Pole is a handcrafted monument that displays the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth," usually in a different language on each side. Currently, there are 31 Peace Poles planted in Fall River that serve as a constant visual reminder that peace is truly attainable if the community works together.
